Captain's Log #1031: Sleeping Hollows Eve

Hello again, everybody.

First, I will like to say Happy Halloween. Today, I'm covering all things that has happened these last few months including a few things involving me. Now, let's begin.

I'm currently working on Total Drama Halloween 2, and has uploaded the first two pages. I'm not sure how long this will be, but know for sure it won't be long running. So, I might be finished by Sunday morning at the latest. EDIT: I'm hoping to have it done before the end of this week. Sorry for the delay. I also want this to be my big Total Drama fan project meaning many of my ideas will be brought in. I will do a few more Total Drama stuff after this, but this will be the last big TD thing that I will be doing. I'm also working on a goodbye piece for Naruto and Kenchi which both end this year. So, keep an eye out.

Meanwhile, I'm now replaying Monster Rancher 4 for the PS2. My original run that I beat the game in was overwritten because I wanted to move some saves around. Luckily, my experience with this game made the new playthrough more easy to handle. So, I'm almost close to facing the final boss again as we speak. My current team is Garese (Garu), Nemesis (Dragon), Beak-Bro (Mogi/Raiden), Flint (Golem), and Mako (Mocchi/Antlan). If you like games with little challenge to them but easy to master, I recommend the game. I kind of wish that we could a new Monster Rancher game for this gen.

As of news, Super Saiyan 4 Goku was confirmed for Dragonball Xenoverse. After years of GT being ignored or thrown in, we are getting GT characters and arcs in games again. This is what I was hoping to have in this game the most. Then, this bombshell dropped, and you can tell I was mad. I heard you can still get SS4 Vegeta if you buy the Day 1 Edition, but it is a cold move on their part. I'm hoping that we get confirmation about the created character slots to make up for this. Otherwise, I'm not as hyped for the game as I used to, but I'm still following the information.

Then, we move on to Pokemon ORAS which I sadly didn't get play the special demo meaning no opinion on that. As for the new Mega-Pokemon, Mega-Beedrill is one of favorite mega-evolutions by far. It looks like deadly insect that I always believed it was. Meanwhile, Mega Pigeot looks Braviary Lite which isn't a bad thing. Mega-Rayquaza and Mega-Steelix look epic as all get out with Mega-Glalie being the middle man.

Then I bring up the elephant in the room, I do support GamerGate. Will I talk about GamerGate again after this? Probably not. I'm going to admit that I've been playing video games since I was young, and I still play them til this day. So, I will say this: If a bunch of people want do unethical things to get what they want, people have the right to call them out on it. If they try to force their views in literally everything especially when it's unneeded, people will say something about it. When you not only say that an identity is dead but label people who doesn't fit into a stereotype as sock puppets and "weaponized minorities", people will not accept that. Crazy things have went down since this thing has started, and more could happen soon. Look up Sargon of Akkad, theLeoPirate, MundaneMatt, and Internet Aristocrat for more info. Otherwise, this will the last time that I'll talk about this unless I run into problems.

To wrap things up, the last few months of 2014 has been a ride: series are ending, new things are rising, and things keep happening. Though, I won't lie to you that I have no idea what the future holds. However, I will face whats next with high spirits, and I hope you do as well. Peace.
